Do you have all the other fields in the frameworks show up, but not 952?
If you had missed checking the mandatory, you'd not be able to catalog
at all, so that's a bit strange. Were the frameworks changed after the
initial installation?
Backup and restore won't work here, as the framework information is
stored in the database. So you would end up with exactly the same
configuration as you have now.
Configuring the item field manually is possible, but a little tricky, as
there are a lot of settings and mappings you have to get right for it to
work flawlessly.
What might work is exporting a default framework from a working
installation and importing it into yours via the GUI (Administration >
Bibliographic MARC frameworks > Import/Export). But be aware that it
would also undo all other changes made to the framework.

Hello Sir,
I did a fresh Koha installation. I am using MARC21.
I can go till Administration > MARC bibliographic frameworks > Default
structure, and there I am not able to find 952 (MARC21) / 995
(UNIMARC) as you mentioned in your email.
Perhaps I did not check the mandatory framework during initial
installation. Now I would like to reinstall the Koha in a proper
manner but thing is that we have already done some book cataloging in
the system. So will it work if I backup and restore the database in
new functioning Koha? or do I have to re-cataloging in the new system?

we will need some more information in order to be able to help you.
Is this a new installation or an updated installation? If it's updated,
which version did you update from?
Are you using MARC21 or UNIMARC?
One reason I could think of is being your frameworks not properly set
up. It could happen if you have unselected the mandatory
frameworks by
Administration > MARC bibliographic frameworks > Default > MARC
structure > 952 (MARC21) / 995 (UNIMARC)
Does the field appear? Does it have all subfields configured? Are they
set to be visible in the editor?
